ENFORSAKEN Part Ways With OLYMPIC RECORDINGS, Seek New Label Home

Arlington Heights, Illinois-based death metallers ENFORSAKEN have parted ways with Olympic Recordings. The group's official statement reads as follows:

"After two years of being signed to the label, ENFORSAKEN have officially parted ways with the Century Media-owned Olympic Recordings. As of today, we are no longer contractually obligated to Olympic and are now free agents. We have parted on good terms. More info will be released to the press shortly by Olympic Recordings. We cannot say any more to the public about why this has happend at this time. All interested labels please get in touch. We have completed material for our next album and are ready to record shortly. All interested parties please contact us at [email protected] for more info."

As previously reported, ENFORSAKEN have set "Sinners' Institution" as the working title of their new album, tentatively due this fall. The follow-up to 2004's "The Forever Endeavor" will be recorded late spring/early summer and will feature artwork by Dutch artist Fred Vanhardeveld.

"The Forever Endeavor" was released in Japan last September through Soundholic Records (in North America in March 2004 through Century Media/Olympic Records). The Japanese pressing of the CD includes four additional "bonus" tracks — three previously unreleased numbers and a cover of CARCASS' "Incarnated Solvent Abuse".
